About Me

Hello! I'm Connor, a software engineer from the Greater Boston Area, who focuses on programming for games and other forms of interactive media.

Most of my experience with game development is in the Unity engine with C#, with experience in both 2D and 3D projects, ranging from commercial games to medical applications. I have experience developing for PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile platforms, having worked on the mobile games "Hellfire Hair" and "Aliens Want Our Mascot?!" at MassDigi. I have also worked on networking for online games and services, specifically during my time at Parallux. One of my biggest points of interest when developing is the user experience, as I aim to make everything I work on fun and accessible to as many people as possible. Additionally, I have taught several classes on programming and game development, both independently and as an instructor through iD Tech.

While I am a programmer first and foremost, I have also developed effective leadership skills, serving as a manager or producer on several projects. I have also dabbled in other areas of game development, such as level design, audio design, writing, 3D modeling, and pixel art.

Aside from software development, I am best known for my YouTube channel "Animated Ginger" where I talk about anything and everything related to the Pokémon anime. I am the sole owner and manager of the channel, and do the vast majority of writing, editing, and thumbnail design.  The channel is currently monetized through Google AdSense and has amassed over 50,000 subscribers and 25 million total views.
