Summary:
Aliens Want Our Mascot?! is a grid-based tower defense game, released by MassDigi for iOS and Android in August 2023. The player is tasked with protecting their beloved school mascot from an alien invasion by commanding an army of students. I became a part of this game's development in January 2024 to assist with development of an upcoming content update, and am currently in the role of lead programmer.

Summary:
Scoops: A Story of Samples is an in-development story driven game where the player manages an ice cream shop post-pandemic. The game features dialogue segments of talking to customers and building relationships, as well as minigames in which the player has to make customers their desired ice cream order, which can then impact the characters and their relationships with the player. The game will be releasing on Steam in late 2024!

Summary:
Hellfire Hair is a card-based rougelike, released by MassDigi for iOS and Android in August 2022. The game sees the player take on the role of a stylish who needs to calm the hair of demons through turn-based combat. After each battle the player will be able to choose from a selection of upgrades and new abilities, making each run unique from the last. I was brought on board post-release to help improve and polish the game for its demo at PAX East and its big April 2023 update. In addition to programming, I also took on a management role as the game's associate producer.

Summary:
Inari is a 3D top-down action game with bullet-hell inspired combat, mixing low-polygon art assets with advanced lighting techniques. The game was inspired by the history and beliefs of Fushimi Inari Taisha, a collection of shrines in Kyoto spanning up a tall mountain. Development for Inari was primarily conducted in Kyoto, with on-site research being performed at Fushimi Inari Taisha to ensure the game's themes, narrative, and world design were as accurate as possible. I worked on this game alongside developing "LED Splash Race" in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University in Japan. The game can be downloaded for free on Itch!

Summary:
Comet Tail Inn short and cozy tale where you play as a bunny living on the moon, only for a traveling beaver to crash land into your house! What may seem like a disaster could also be the start of a new friendship, as you work with the friendly beaver to gather materials and rebuild your home, potentially transforming it into an inn along the way for future space travelers!
